Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This policy explains what data my apps handle, why, and what choices you have. It covers the following apps, published by me, Daniel Mičic, an independent developer:

  • BazzaBee (Android and iOS, free and "No Ads" versions)
  • Achieve (Android)
  • Play Words (Android)
  • Simple Diet (Android)

I am the data controller for these apps. If you have any question about this policy, contact me at jodabrosgames@gmail.com

1. Summary

  • I don't ask you to create an account and I don't ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
  • Most data (scores, settings, progress, anything you enter) is stored only on your device. I can't see it.
  • Some apps use third-party services for ads, leaderboards, analytics and crash reports. These services collect limited device data, described below.
  • I don't sell your personal data.

2. Data each app handles

BazzaBee

Stored only on your device

  • High score, number of games played, collected frog skins, tutorial and settings flags.
  • Local gameplay statistics used for game balancing. These stay on the device and are not uploaded.

Uninstalling the app deletes this data.

Online leaderboard (Unity Gaming Services)

To show the global Top 10, the app signs you in anonymously with Unity Authentication. This sends to Unity:

  • A random player ID generated by Unity (not linked to your name, email, or store account)
  • Your leaderboard nickname (randomly generated; you can change it)
  • Your best score

Your nickname and score are visible to other players. Please don't use your real name or other personal information as a nickname.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

  • The free version shows interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads (watch an ad to continue a run).
  • The No Ads version shows no interstitial ads. Rewarded ads are still available, but only when you choose to watch one.

When an ad is requested, Google AdMob may collect: IP address (and an approximate location derived from it), device and operating system information, the advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, or Apple IDFA if you allow tracking), and ad interaction data (for example, whether an ad was shown or tapped). Google uses this to deliver ads, measure them, and prevent fraud.

Achieve, Play Words and Simple Diet

Stored only on your device

  • Anything you enter in the app (goals, words, diet entries, settings). I don't collect this.

Third-party services used by these apps may collect device identifiers, IP address, app usage events, and crash diagnostics:

  • Google Play Services
  • Google AdMob (ads)
  • Google Firebase Analytics (anonymous usage statistics)
  • Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports: device model, OS version, app state at the time of the crash)
  • Meta (Facebook) SDK

3. Why the data is used, and legal basis

For users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR):

Purpose Legal basis
Running the leaderboard Performance of the service you use (contract)
Showing non-personalized ads to fund free apps Legitimate interest
Showing personalized ads Your consent
Crash reports and usage analytics to fix bugs and improve apps Legitimate interest
Preventing fraud and abuse Legitimate interest

4. Third-party services

These providers process data under their own privacy policies:

Service Used in Privacy policy
Google AdMob All apps https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Google Play Services Android apps https://policies.google.com/privacy
Unity Gaming Services (Authentication, Leaderboards) BazzaBee https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics Achieve, Play Words, Simple Diet https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Meta (Facebook) SDK Achieve, Play Words, Simple Diet https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. They rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

5. Your choices about ads and tracking

  • Android: go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) to reset or delete your Advertising ID. Once deleted, apps receive no advertising ID and you get non-personalized ads.
  • iOS: BazzaBee uses your IDFA only if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • EEA, UK and Switzerland: ads are personalized only if you give consent.
  • No ads at all (BazzaBee): the No Ads version removes interstitial ads. Rewarded ads only play when you tap to watch one.

6. How long data is kept

  • On-device data: until you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
  • Leaderboard data (BazzaBee): as long as the leaderboard exists, or until you ask me to delete it.
  • Ad, analytics and crash data: kept by each provider according to its own retention policy (for Firebase Crashlytics, 90 days).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA/CPRA in California), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data held about you
  • Correct it
  • Delete it
  • Object to or restrict its processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Receive a copy in a portable format
  • File a complaint with your local data protection authority

Deleting your BazzaBee leaderboard entry: email me at jodabrosgames@gmail.com with your leaderboard nickname. I'll delete your player record and score within 30 days.

For data held by Google, Unity, Firebase or Meta, you can also contact them directly through the links in section 4.

I don't sell personal information. I don't "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, except through the ad services described above. You can limit this using the settings in section 5.

8. Children

My apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA, where that age applies). I don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data (for example, a real name as a leaderboard nickname), contact me and I'll delete it.

9. Security

Data sent to Unity, Google and Meta is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect the data these apps handle.

10. Changes to this policy

When I update this policy, I'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, I'll add a notice in the app or on the store listing.
